Treatment of brain metastases in lung cancer

Lung cancer is the most frequent oncological disorder and has been main topic in congresses. There have countless changes diagnosis treatment, improvements diagnostic methods, more effective less invasive curative care systemic treatments (new drugs molecular targets). In whole therapeutic spectrum, radiotherapy plays a significant role at brain metastasis level are very relevant. Brain metastases neuro-oncologic complication lung patients. Managing this situation become increasingly complex recent years. The results improving, not only terms of responses to treatment but also an increasing reduction side effects. This paper reviews latest advances current management patients with from cancer.
